If you've not purchased the Red Flag flashdrive because 'you've already got the Red Flag library', you're mistaken. There are reworks of Red Flag classics featuring, (my crush), Rob Sandoval, and the current sound from the new album, Serenity. I love the 'transistor' effect used for the vocals. I could write pages on the overall sound of Red Flag tracking intended, and subliminal influences of electronic soundscapes utilized by the spectrum of acts over the last 40 years, cleverly sewn into the brilliant fabric of songwriting by Chris Reynolds. What a journey! I remember the bright-red vinyl promotional issue of 'broken heart' arriving at the station, not knowing in the future something called a 'flashdrive' in signature red, and black would deliver a sound that stirs in me the same excitement, 'Once Again.'

Hi everyone, my name is Rob. I'm the new guy singing on the forthcoming Red Flag album. Chris and I were introduced at Sabbat, a club in San Diego, by EJ, one of the DJ's there, in 2008. I gave Chris a demo of my band, Electrovot, and a couple of weeks later, he sent us a couple of awesome remixes, including a really cool piano version of "The One". Some time later, Chris asked me to sing a new song he had written called Glass Spider. We were both stoked about the results, and so I ended up singing more new songs that he was writing, as well as re-doing some songs that he had previously released from the last three Red Flag albums. One thing led to another, and now, a new Red Flag album is on the way. I truly hope to please as many old school fans as possible, and make new fans along the way. Cheers, Rob
